Hilariously True Silly High School Love Poems

Hello, everyone! In the bleak of this winter, here's something that may cheer you up! :)

So here are some fun poems to put a smile on your face!! :)  The Limericks are meant to be silly so PLEASE don't take them seriously.
See if you can relate to any! :)

The High School Love LIMERICKS Collection:

So my friend and I both liked him,
He flirted with me on a whim,
My friend was all mad
I was like,"That's too bad!"
And then she kicked me in the shin.

There once was this really cute boy
To attract him I acted all coy
It's going real well
I think he's under my spell
The wedding day will be full of joy.

There once was a girl who is me
Who wanted to see a movie
With a boy who is nice
Who will buy popcorn twice
Any ideas of who this could be?

So I found this weird thing on my door,
I think it's from the boy I adore
Wait no its not
But he gave me a thought
This dance will be a blast for sure.

I've been waiting for this moment all year
In the hall we soon will be near
I think I will die!
I mumble a "Hi"
Did I really just conquer my fear?

I all want is somebody to love
All I have is some chocolate-Dove.
It is my friend
It's there till the end
Until I mourn the sad lack thereof.

The High School Love Haiku Collection
These poems describe different situations that you may find in a high school romance setting. These are more serious. But still very real and true to life :)

Texting, talking, time-
She wants to be loved for once,
He's playing a game.

Puppy love for one
Just a friend for the other
Fate hides a love true.

Friends and lovers were,
Feelings still alive for one
Distance Separates.

Dating past boundaries
Waiting for one but loving
kisses in the park.

Wanting attention
Then backing off, playing tag
A broken heart wins.

Fun loving and carefree
When she falls please catch her
Or she won't get up.

Romantic at heart
Got hurt, dares not open up
Stuck in Jr. High.

Cupid for her friends
Never a man for her own
Living though others.

Had a lover true,
Broken hearted friends end love
Meanie takes the man.

Hope you enjoyed these poems! Have a wonderful day. :)

A Possible Most Wonderful Account of Reuniting a Stellar Missionary and His Beautiful Lover in Waiting

Too often we are bombarded in this world with stories of tragedy, misery, and broken hearts. Missionaries leave with high hopes that their one true love will wait, lovingly, patiently, for two long, long years, but then end up getting something regretfully and emphatically known as the infamous "Dear John". It's sad. It's horrible. It kills dreams and hopes for a happy future. And it happens every day.

This is a real issue, everyone! We can't have our missionary men out on the front lines in the field-who already are facing enormous challenges from the foe- suddenly doused with another earth shattering disappointment caused by broken promises. The casualties of heart are not to be taken lightly. Our warriors of God laboring every second of every day to save souls should NOT have to worry their precious hearts with thoughts doubting the loyalty of women. I say, NO MORE!

There are only two main methods of helping fix this ever increasing problem (Just kidding. There are probably tons of ways to help missionaries in the field deal with girls back home. And hey, everyone's situation is different, and I totally get that. You do what's best for your situation! But for the purposes of this blog, these are the main two).

#1: Missionaries should not have girlfriends before they leave.

OR

#2: Girlfriends should actually wait. Specifically meaning, to not go get engaged. Yeah?

The good news is, as often as we do hear the classic "Dear John" scenario, these are not always the case.

Yes, sometimes they do wait. And sometimes it works out. And it is all in the timing and will of the Lord.  And it is like a dream come true.

And sometimes it is way better for the girl to marry a different guy. So it really just depends.

But one thing is for sure: we need to support our missionaries in whatever way is best!
One other thing is for sure, anyone waiting for a missionary should take this advice:

And, sometimes, with the Lord's timing, life can go from this:

To This:

Just trust in the Lord. That's the key. :)

So, whether you're waiting for a missionary or not, it doesn't matter. Right now you are waiting and preparing for your future husband and future family. You won't get this chance again! Make this time count through doing what the Lord desires of you. As you are preparing so is he. So, as it turns out, the most wonderful account of the reuniting of a stellar missionary and his beautiful lover in waiting could possibly be your own. And the waiting will definitely pay off. Ask anyone who married a future missionary and they will tell you the same thing: -these amazing Sons of God are worth the wait!

Best of luck finding the one. :) He's out there somewhere! :)
